Validation or Calibration? What's the difference?
Validation is a quality review process used by a team to assess whether a draft task meets the technical quality requirements to be considered valid.
Calibration is a process to assist teacher teams to reliably score student work and ensure that similar expectations are applied across student work samples. This is also known as consensus scoring.
